St Louis School
A health camp was organized in our school for all the students and staff to spread awareness about health check-up and maintaining a healthy life . The program started at 8 a.m with the introductory speech given by our respected principal sir and head of the doctor’s team which came to our school. By 9a.m we were all asked to make a line and get our height and weight checked to calculate BMI (body mass index) which explains whether the person is unhealthy or not. My BMI was 19.5 which comes under normal range. By 1 pm every student with staff got themselves checked for BMI, blood report and other health conditions if any. We all were advised some type of food and exercises by the doctors to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I was advised to get my eyes checked up for spectacles as they think my number has increased. Our class had the maximum number of healthy kids and thus we were appreciated by the doctors and principle sir as well. We all were happy to know about so many things which we can learn from doctors. I hope our school organizes these type of campaigns each year for a healthy student count and less absentees. Every school should organize these kind of campaigns to ensure healthy environment in school. The program ended with a overall report by the doctors about health of students and teachers which said we all were healthy and can improve. I thank all the doctors and nurses for their time and consideration for our school.
